Traditionally, we are active within the further education sector where we are either Framework or Approved contractors for many of London’s premier universities. Our understanding and working knowledge across a wide range of university campus buildings has developed our teams to anticipate and plan for the unexpected. Often constricted sites with challenging logistical aspects where optimum solutions are required.
However, we also cater for those initially entering education with some of our nursery or infant/primary school construction projects. With our own internal specialist team, we have demonstrated a flexible approach and innovative solutions to schools requirements.

A project from Priority Schools Building Programme 2, Cromer Road Primary School will benefit from refurbishment of their key stage one classrooms and well as a new build extension to deliver further teaching space.
Part of QMUL, the Garrod Building, named in recognition of esteemed physician Sir Archibald Garrod, is listed and of great historical importance. The project comprised of the full strip out and refurbishment of 14 teaching rooms and associated corridors.
The project comprised of the refurbishment and remodelling of the lower ground floor of Lionel Robbins Building - one of the largest libraries in the UK devoted to the economic and social sciences. The Library responds to around 6,500 visits from students and staff each day.
Situated very close to St. Pancras International (with the Eurostar terminal) and King’s Cross stations, John Dodgson House student accommodation also offers budget summer non-term time accommodation in a central location. Our development successfully delivered 49 new bedrooms across two new floors, included refurbishment to elements of the existing six floors.
This was a fast track summer works project to refurbish student accommodation. We successfully refurbished 32 student bedrooms and associated communal areas on both the lower ground and fifth floors. Throughout the duration of the works, the building remained fully functional.

The Norton Knatchbull School is a popular and highly regarded selective school for boys aged 11-18 which admits a growing number of girls into its Sixth Form. Many of the existing buildings are suffering from poor environmental performance and a range of condition issues, such as leaking roofs, spalling concrete, uninsulated cavity walls and single glazing.

UCL offers it’s students a range of self-catering accommodation, of which Schafer House and Prankard House are included. Logan Construction was awarded the contract for the refurbishment and redecoration of both student houses, to upgrade the existing facilities.
Providing education for 20,000 students, Kingston University London is constantly striving to provide excellent education and services. Bridge House provides furnished study bedrooms arranged in individual flats, with up to eight other students offering shared kitchen facilities.
The aim of this project is to create a new pupil entrance and improved approach to the school site from the south, an attractive new teaching block and a refurbished play area with better quality of netball courts and additional space for informal and social interaction.

The project comprises of the connection of an existing outlying room in the City and Guilds Building to the Bessemer Building, to provide additional much needed desk space/offices. Part of the Imperial College London’s South Kensington campus, this was a fast paced project within an occupied environment.
