The NHS turns 70 today and we have been working alongside them since the inception of our company in 1996.
With 70% of our turnover in healthcare, we pretty much set foot on NHS property everyday and see the tremendous level of work and dedication that goes not only into the care they deliver, but the facilities they provide and maintain to enable the best care to be given 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We have reached a milestone in our delivery of healthcare projects this decade – this financial year we delivered £22m of work to NHS property which now pushes our total turnover in this sector since 2010 to over £100m.
Some of the prominent projects we are currently delivering includes:
Royal Free Hospital Accident and Emergency: The complex phased demolition, extension and fit-out refurbishment of the live A&E department within the Royal Free Hospital, situated throughout the lower ground floor
Royal Surrey County Hospital New Urology Centre: A world leading urology centre spanning approximately 1600m2 across two floors to facilitate patient treatment together with ground breaking research facilities.
Royal Surrey County Hospital Accident and Emergency: The redevelopment of the Accident and Emergency department to provide modern and upgraded facilities that deliver a revised care pathway.
We are also starting further works at St Thomas’ Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital in the coming month – more on these exciting new projects soon.
William Logan, Managing Director said “We are proud to support the NHS by constructing excellent quality facilities that enables them to deliver ever evolving levels of care and technological advancements that save lives”.
We are delighted to work alongside the staff and teams in every Trust we work with and look forward to continue to delivering another £100m of work in the next decade – #happybirthdayNHS!
