The Logan team have had the pleasure of attending 3 ceremonies in the last 2 weeks to find out the outcome of 5 award shortlistings. Emergency Care Pathways at St Thomas’ Hospital was the focus of these awards, with the project being made a finalist across all the awards entered.
On 20th June, we attended the NEC Users Annual Seminar that incorporated the NEC Awards. We were nominated for Contractor of the Year and Project of the Year. We were pleased to receive a Highly Commended award for both categories and thank the team at NEC for highlighting us amongst strong international competition.
Thursday 21st June saw us attend the Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2018, which celebrates local businesses and their successes across the past year. We were fortunate enough to be shortlisted in the final three for Construction Project of the Year from 22 entries. Sadly, we were not chosen as winners this year, but we want to thank KEiBA for their time and we really enjoyed the process and meeting the judges.
Finally, we attended the London and South East Constructing Excellence Awards on 28th June, where we were nominated for two categories – ‘Value’ and ‘Project of the Year >£10m’. Prior to attending and being shortlisted, we had to not only complete an entry submission but attend a judging day where we presented and answered questions in front of a panel of industry judges who then determined the overall winner. We were therefore very pleased to have been named finalists for these two accolades and even though we didn’t bring back a trophy on the night, we were proud to be in the running with many other prestigious companies and projects.
We look forward to further recognition for our projects and our team later in the year and thank everyone who has been involved with the Emergency Care Pathways scheme and supported our entries.
