We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories at the NEC Awards 2018 – ‘Project of the Year’ and ‘Contractor of the Year’.
The awards, which recognise ‘excellence in project delivery’ and ‘best practice collaboration’, invites entries from contractors, clients or projects that have utilised the NEC Form of Contract, with the spotlight on the key aim of ‘working in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation’.
We nominated the Emergency Care Pathways Project at St Thomas’ for ‘Project of the Year’. The £19.5m scheme used NEC 3 with Option A and throughout the three and half year contract, we develop a strong project team with ADP Architecture and Essentia (part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust), which enabled us to be collaborative and flexible to the needs of the A&E department and undertake the project with minimal disruption to staff and patients.
Logan have successfully worked on 6 NEC projects in the last 12 months under Options A and C. We truly advocate this form of contract and feel it embodies our Company Values and approach to delivery – working in trust and co-operation, a non adversarial manner and with a zero-blame culture.
Entries have come in from across the globe and we are up against companies and projects from Hong Kong and New Zealand.
Results will be announced during the NEC Users’ Group Annual Seminar 2018 in London on 20th June. We look forward to finding out if we have been successful!
