New Starters for 2018

We’ve been busy recruiting in the first three months of this year, strengthening both our pre-construction and contract teams as we continue to grow and deliver excellence. Say hi to the newest members of the Logan family below:


Glen Francis, Contract Manager

Glen has worked in construction for over a decade and has delivered a myriad of projects including high end commercial and office fit-outs, retail extensions and new build residential and care. Glen will be working on several projects including a new scheme for St Joseph’s Hospice that involves refurbishment of wards for the provider.



Rachel Wood, Assistant Project Manager

Rachel joins us from a maintenance background, previously managing repairs for over 2000 homes in Oxford. She decided her passion lay in construction project management and has joined our Heatherwood Hospital team who are currently refurbishing Block 40 into offices. Rachel finishes her construction degree in August and hopes to be running her own site not long after that.



Steph Harris, Marketing Manager

Steph has come on board to take on all the marketing aspects of the business, including growing Logan’s brand awareness across Kent and the South East. Steph will also be managing the collation and production of bids and is part of our growing pre-construction team. Keep an eye out for her many social media posts and attendance at local events.



Simon Aplin, Senior Estimator

Simon has worked for several prestigious main contractors in the past and has extensive experience in new build and refurbishment projects. Simon brings over three decades of experience to the business and has estimated projects in a wide array of sectors including heritage, museum, healthcare, residential and education.



Martin Featherstone, Contract Manager

Martin joins us from a main contractor background, specialising in education projects. He is a previous Considerate Constructors Gold award winner and is keen on delivering social value throughout his projects. Martin will begin work on Cromer Road Primary School next month where we are providing a new build classroom block for staff and students.



Serrene Clorley, Bid Writer

Serrene has had varied experience of working in a bid environment over the last 18 years, working within a variety of sectors including; construction related industries for 6 years and in healthcare for the last 6 years. She brings her keen eye and creative mind and is seeking to deliver excellence throughout all our tender submissions.
