Maternity Ward to link to an existing adjacent Maternity Ward and Clinical Coding Offices. The works comprised of the internal demolition of partitions with the strip out of all existing fixtures and fittings. Provision was made for new electrical and mechanical services including bedhead trunking, nurse call, lighting and small power, medical gases, ventilation, public health etc. New flooring, ceilings and finishes were completed throughout.
The successful completion of this project was facilitated by Logan’s ability to work in occupied areas to safely progress works whilst maintaining operational wards adjacent to the Site. A robust H&S Plan was implemented and managed throughout the Project to ensure a safe working environment was maintained for hospital staff and patients as well as Logan operatives.
