The works were phased under 6 sections and involved the refurbishment of the CT Scanner Control Room, waiting areas and preparation rooms with offices. Works included for the demolition of existing partitions and re-instatement of glazed partitions with new ceilings, flooring, purpose made fitted joinery and finishes.
The successful completion of this project was facilitated by Logan’s ability to manage services shutdowns and installation in a timely and sequential fashion to mitigate interruption with the operational areas surrounding each phase of the works.
Health & Safety along with infection control were fundamental in ensuring the surrounding Wards were kept operation whilst undertaking the refurbishment works. A robust and thorough CDM Plan was established and maintained throughout the Project.
