Logan Construction Appointed to £9bn ProCure23 (P23) Framework

March 2022

Logan Construction has been appointed two places on the new P23 NHS Framework.

P23 is the fourth generation of the ProCure framework for the design and construction of NHS capital projects with an expected cumulative spend of £9bn during its lifespan.  P23 will build on the previous heritage of the framework which over the past 19 years has successfully delivered across England over 1,200 projects with a cumulative spend of £9.7bn.

The new framework will run for four years and is arranged into five lots of varying levels of complexity and value of work. Lots 1-3 are specifically for healthcare projects in England and valued at £9bn; Lots 4 and 5 are available to all public sector bodies in the UK, running alongside the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Construction Works and Associated Services (CWAS) agreement.

Working in partnership, frameworks help to reduce procurement timescales, learning curves and risks.

Logan Construction are thrilled to be appointed both lots that were applied for:-

  • Lot 1.5 London            Projects up to £20m
  • Lot 1.6 South East      Projects up to £20m

Each lot has eight contractors appointed to them and Logan Construction are proud to be the only SME successful on lots 1.5 and 1.6.

William Logan, MD, said: “We are extremely pleased that Logan Construction has been appointed as a Principal Supply Chain Partner (PSCP) on the P23 Framework and I personally see this as deserved recognition of our business as a whole and its proven abilities in delivering complex Healthcare projects within sensitive and often restricted environments to excellent standards of safety and quality in a non-adversarial and collaborative approach.  We are truly excited at the prospects this Framework presents to us with continuing to work with our existing NHS Clients as well as introducing our business and services to new NHS Clients, all with the shared goal of continuing to support our NHS in building improved healthcare facilities for the benefit of the staff, patients and general public.”

Logan Construction are now excited for the work opportunities arising from the P23 framework once it formally launches in June 2022 and are putting into place our implementation strategy to seamlessly transition tender enquiries into contracts.

This appointment follows Logan’s recent successes in being awarded places on Crown Commercial Services Construction Works and Associated Services, Pagabo Major Works and London Construction Programme frameworks.
