Why Direct Award?

What is a Direct Award?
A simple, quick, public sector compliant mechanism to engage and procure a selected
supplier for a Client’s project delivery requirements.

Benefits of Direct Award
Fully legal and compliant public sector procurement route to market.

Provides the quickest compliant public sector route to market facilitating project commencement often months ahead of traditional procurement routes.

Awards are governed and compliant with transparent declared fixed costs for supplier’s
overheads and profits along with resource costs and commitments to the project delivery
under the Framework Agreements.

Provides for greater cost and programme certainty as the supplier is engaged at an earlier
stage of the project providing real time cost and programme information at planning
compared to traditional procurement routes.

The Frameworks listed retain support services for Client’s Procurement departments to answer queries around Direct Award provisions and assist with the call-off procedures.
