Logan Construction is a family owned business started by Bill Logan back in 1996. He and his son, William Logan, have grown the business to now turning over c£45m and retaining over 70 members of staff.
We are proud of our values and ethos, that come from being family owned, and we continue to invest in our staff to give them the skills and experience they need to undertake a career with us.
The Logans are joined on the board by two further directors – Tony Kemp and Jeremy Thorp.

Bill Logan | CEO
Bill is an energetic, determined and innovative CEO with a lifetime of experience in the construction industry. Prior to founding Logan Construction in 1996, Bill excelled in engineering and was employed by some of our country’s largest contractors. Amongst his personal portfolio are several of our industry’s most illustrious schemes, including the Hinkley Point B Nuclear Power Station.
Bill’s passion for building relationships eventually engineered him towards regional construction, where his proven track record for developing fruitful client partnerships blossomed under the Logan Construction banner. His thoughtfulness, vision and business acumen produced a strategy which focuses on collaborative working to identify innovative solutions. This remains the core ethos of Logan Construction and has been the main contributing factor in our success. Thanks to the blueprint he created, we have quickly established a reputation for successful delivery on complex projects.
Unfortunately, everyone has their vices. Bill’s is Charlton Athletic FC. He regularly attends home games and loves cheering the Addicks on at the Valley.

Tony Kemp, MCIOB BSC (Hons) | Construction Director
As Contracts Director, Tony’s primary objective is to ensure that all our projects are delivered safely, to agreed programme and with the highest quality.
Tony has extensive experience in the industry, training first as a surveyor before moving into Contracts Management and now has over 25 years’ experience at Director level. Over the years he has worked a diverse portfolio of projects within the industry, delivering numerous complex and diverse schemes. He still enjoys the challenging nature of the design, planning, organisation and resourcing process that needs to be completed for all projects and maintains a passion for successful delivery and pleasing our clients.
Tony still maintains a very ‘hands on’ approach and keeps a keen interest in the day to day activities on all of Logan’s current works.
Away from work, Tony has a love of sport, both watching and participating, with golf, football and cricket being his main passions. He also enjoys music, reading and going to the cinema.

Jeremy Thorp | Commercial Director
Jeremy joined Logan Construction as Commercial Director in 2015, after progressing from a Trainee Surveyor at a small local firm to excelling as a Board-level leader for some of the South-East’s most successful Construction firms.
Highly experienced in all aspects of commercial, marketing and project management; Jeremy is focused on eradicating wasted costs on building projects. To this end, he takes responsibility for both the Pre-Construction and Surveying team’s efforts in producing robust commercial solutions for our clients.
Working closely with our project teams, Jeremy has been essential in developing and sustaining positive relations with our clients and suppliers. Underpinning this is his endorsement of a collaborative open book approach, to safeguard clients from being met with hidden, unexpected costs at project completion.
Outside of work Jeremy plays golf, although not as good as he would like. Compounding this frustration is his lifelong support Gillingham F.C, both of which go some way to explaining his disillusioned mood most Monday mornings. Fishing is Jeremy’s escape from all other escapisms though, enjoying above all other pursuits the aquatic chess match between a man and a carp on a cold November morning.
