Another Excellent Considerate Constructors Score

August 2023

Congratulations to our site team!

Achieving an EXCELLENT score of 42/45, following recent visit by Considerate Constructors Scheme Assessor

We are currently working on two separate projects for the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

This excellent CCS score relates to the project we are carrying out on Level 8 of the Southwood Building.  Our works here are for the full reconfiguration and refurbishment of existing wards to create a new Clinical Research Facility Department and Treatment/Observation areas.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is based in Central London and is a landlocked site with very restrictive access and egress.

The floors above and below our works are occupied and the site neighbour’s include other hospital buildings along with a mixture of both  commercial and residential properties.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a not-for-profit, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image.

Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

The Scheme is concerned about any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole. The main areas of concern fall into three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment.
