Another Very Successful Considerate Constructors Scheme Visit

31 March 2023

MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to our project team scoring a very impressive 39/45 during the first Considerate Constructors Scheme visit to our GOSH Level 8 site

This is our second project currently on site within the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Southwood Building.

This project is for the demolition, strip out and alteration work of the existing 8th floor to create a new Clinical Research Facility Department.

Logan Construction are also working on the 6th floor, with all other areas of the hospital being fully occupied.  This is a very constrained site in Central London with site neighbours being other hospital buildings along with a mixture of commercial and residential properties.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a not-for-profit, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image.

Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

The Scheme is concerned about any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole. The main areas of concern fall into three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment.
