Brooklands College Refurbishment

Brooklands College, a reputable institution for vocational training and higher education in Surrey, was extremely pleased with the timely completion of the first-floor refurbishment Logan Construction carried out on the first floor of the existing Vickers Building.

This 10-week project was for the refurbishment of an area of approximately 480 m2 and included reconfiguration with the demolition of internal partitions and the construction of new lightweight metal stud partitions.

Furthermore, the space was refurbished with new wall, floor and ceiling finishes and the services installations were replaced and included the installation of energy-efficient lighting.

The toilet facilities were also modernised with new sanitary ware to provide contemporary amenities.

The refurbished building now provides a bright and spacious dining room, an ITC suite, two large classrooms, a staff area with kitchen, two support rooms, a breakout room, unisex toilets, disabled toilet facilities and a newly decorated circulation area.

External works were carried out, including the installation of a new external platform lift and enclosure, a ramp, a first-floor gantry and a canopy. Additionally, a perimeter fence and gate were erected to improve building safety and security.
