Estimator

We are currently in search of an experienced Estimator who has the ability to handle contract values ranging from £500,000 to £10.0 million.  The successful candidate will be responsible for producing priced tenders that are accurate, detailed and competitive, and must be delivered within the given deadlines.  This role requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to maintain positive relationships with prospective clients and professionals to promote further tender invitations.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications to provide accurate estimates for construction materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.  You will also need to identify any potential risks or issues that may impact the project cost, schedule or quality and provide recommendations for mitigation.

In addition, you will be required to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements, answer queries and negotiate terms.  You will also need to maintain accurate records of all tender documents, correspondence and other relevant information, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid understanding of construction processes, materials and techniques, as well as excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.  If you are a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Bid Writer

Working alongside the Pre-Construction Team, you will be required to support the work winning efforts across the business, liaising with staff in all departments to collate information to use in pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ) and responses to invitations to tender (ITT).

The Bid Writer will be required to work on a variety of different bids and therefore will be required to have previous experience within a similar role as well as an excellent understanding of business challenges and processes.
