This project commenced with nine months of extensive demolitions requiring temporary works support design to the second floor Lambeth South Wing. Extensive steel supports had to be strategically positioned for the retainment of existing walls, floors and roof areas. This was followed by the refurbishment of existing 3rd floor space and plant room to create a new Critical Care Facility and provided a new nurse base station, six bay bed area, treatment and examination room, research support office, commercial dietary kitchen, new main reception and assisted WCs together with a staff relaxation area.
“Just a quick note to say thank you on behalf of the ED clinical team for the successful delivery of phase three south, which marks a very important milestone in the ECP project. I know this phase has been tricky, but I have received nothing but the highest praise for your professionalism, consideration and respect for our staff and patients and willingness to work with us to resolve issues and achieve the best possible outcome… I am proud to be associated with such as great team.”

“Logan Construction took a very pro-active approach to this project. Over a period of 3 years they completed the expansion and refurbishment of one of London’s busiest Emergency Departments without adversely impacting on the operational performance of the care provided to our patients. This was an excellent example of working in collaboration with the Trust and the quality of the finished work is very impressive.”
