Logan Construction Wins Major Contract Award
Logan Construction has been awarded to undertake a £7.5 million project by NHS Property Services via the ProCure 23 Framework.
The project aims to construct a new health centre in Northwood & Pinner, which will replace the old estate and allow for the expansion of existing services.
The project scope involves the construction of a new 2-storey, 1,503m2 health centre that meets modern requirements, providing GP Surgery and outpatient facilities.
The works include the demolition of a portion of the existing cottage hospital, full refurbishment,
new-build extensions and new incoming utilities. Additionally, it covers building engineering services and hard and soft landscaping.
The functional content includes treatment and consulting rooms, waiting areas, admin and office space and related support spaces.
The new building area is larger than the existing health centre, making it possible to accommodate the required expansion of the existing services and allowing for a wider range of services to be provided.
This is an exciting development that will be a huge benefit to both the community and the healthcare sector.
