Following a whirlwind few months, we thought we would take a moment to pull back the curtain on our Marketing and Business Development team to provide an insight into who they are and their recent endeavours to continue Logan’s growth.
Louise Fermor, Marketing Manager, joined Logan Construction in January of this year. Her 15-year experience in the industry has already paid dividends, with a noticeable increase in enquiry footfall since the start of the year. Tasked with expanding our horizons across new sectors, whilst continuing to strengthen ties with our existing client base, Louise has been working hard to ensure a steady stream of exciting opportunities.
John Rasch, Bid Writer extraordinaire, oversees delivery of our enquiry responses. He ensures all our bids convey the care, innovation and proven quality that our delivery teams bring to each project under their control.
Claire Tracey started her journey with Logan Construction only one year ago, but has become an invaluable member of the team. Providing vital admin support to the wider preconstruction team, Claire’s role ensures the seamless delivery of robust tender proposals. Moreover, Claire vigilantly works to ensure our supply-chain is rich with verified options through her application of our company’s vetting procedures.
BUILDING OUR SUCCESS IN 2019
Through this new team’s efforts, our opportunity conversion rate has risen to a remarkable 81% so far this year. This equates to just over £61m worth of tenders landing in the office.
In addition to high volumes of PQQ and tender success, our focus on Frameworks continues to reap rewards. Exemplifying this is the notification received last week that we have been included on a new 7-year framework. A strongly contested opportunity, whose conversion now places us next to the most illustrious Contractors in our industry, this Framework will build our relationship with the public sector.
Last month marked another successful client event for Logan Construction. The evening, hosted at the Madison, provided a valuable platform to strengthen relationships with some of our most important contacts.
PROMOTING THE BRAND
During the last few months, we took the opportunity to strategically raise our profile within the South-East. To this end, we exhibited at both the SE Construction Expo and the Headmasters Conference. These provided a great opportunity to promote our brand, grow our subcontractor database and generate leads targeted towards raising our education portfolio.
CHARITY AND CONSTRUCTION
Synergising with our core values or integrity, collaboration and passion; we supported the Basildon & Thurrock Hospitals Charitable Trust at their recent Polly Parrot Charity Ball. As headline sponsors, we helped this fantastic event raise approximately £9,000 for the Trust.
