This project comprised the complex fit-out of a new Health and Wellbeing Centre, within the ground and first floor of a recently completed shell and core structure.  The project was undertaken in a highly populated residential environment.

Project Value:  £3,000,000

Project Duration:  38 weeks

This project comprised the complex fit-out of a new Health & Wellbeing Centre, within the ground and first floor demise of a recently completed shell and core structure.

The words involved full fit-out throughout to provide two GP practices, an outpatients unit, therapy areas, diagnostics zones and numerous other services focussed on wellbeing.

Strict compliance to the agreed safety plans were essential, owing to the occupied residential properties above and outside the site demise. To this end, positive relationships with the client team and wider community were promoted through regular formal and informal collaboration with all parties.

Adjacent buildings in constant use included Orpington College, the local public library, a Premier Inn and a Sainsbury’s supermarket. We continued to mitigate these throughout the project by a robust traffic management plan that was produced in collaboration with the client prior to our start onsite date. This was continuingly reviewed to ensure its effectiveness in terms of persevering safety and minimising local disruption.

An excellent BREEAM rating has been delivered within this project. Thanks to our robust co-ordination of the design, delivery elements and our supply-chain; we achieved this key performance indicator.
