About This Education Project

Brooklands College is a renowned institution in Surrey that provides vocational training and higher education.

We recently completed the first-floor refurbishment of the existing Vickers Building and the college was extremely pleased with the timely completion, which took only 10 weeks to finish.

The project involved a refurbishment area of approximately 480 m2, which included the reconfiguration of the internal partitions and the construction of new lightweight metal stud partitions.

The space was also refurbished with new wall, floor and ceiling finishes and the services installations were replaced, including the installation of energy-efficient lighting.

The toilet facilities were modernised and new sanitary ware was installed to provide contemporary amenities.

The refurbished building now comprises a bright and spacious dining room, an ITC suite, two large classrooms, a staff area with kitchen, two support rooms, a breakout room, unisex toilets, disabled toilet facilities and a newly decorated circulation area.

External works were carried out, including the installation of a new external platform lift and enclosure, a ramp, a first-floor gantry and a canopy. Additionally, a perimeter fence and gate were erected to improve building safety and security.
