Design & Build project of a steel frame extension to extend the restaurant catering facilities. New access arrangements were formed into the existing building and extensive dust control measures utilised to ensure that catering facilities could be maintained. The new kitchen kit out had to be carefully coordinated with the existing facility to ensure that full catering services could be continued during the construction phase.

 

MASONS LECTURE THEATRE

  • Fast track fit out project
  • Acoustic walls and ceilings

Full refurbishment of existing lecture theatre to provide provisions for the state-of-art AV system along with acoustic performance. The works were heavily programmed and procured to meet with the university’s shut down requirements and successful completion of the project within a seven week construction and commissioning programme.

 

GARROD BUILDING

  • Listed building
  • Preservation and restoration of windows and doors
  • Fast track project completed six weeks early

Strip out and refurbishment to 14 teaching rooms and associated corridors within a fully occupied three-storey building. The refurbishment works were located on the first floor and it was essential at all times that teaching and student safety was paramount, along with having a minimal impact on the daily activities of the university.
