Work Begins – New Community Diagnostic Centre at Queen Victoria Hospital

January 2026

We are excited to announce that construction has officially commenced on a new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.

Pictured: Abigail Jago, Acting Chief Executive, breaks the ground for QVH’s new Community Diagnostic Centre building, accompanied by Dr Ian Francis, Deputy Chief Medical Officer (left) and William Logan, Managing Director of Logan Construction (right).

This project represents a significant investment in the health and wellbeing of the community, enhancing the services the hospital  is able offer.

Project Details:  The new CDC will feature a single-storey building designed in a traditional style, carefully crafted to blend seamlessly with the existing architecture of the hospital. The design will match the brick type and building style of the Jubilee building, creating a cohesive link between the old and new.

A Welcoming Environment:  The external areas of the CDC will be designed to be welcoming and accessible, providing plentiful green space for staff, patients, and visitors.

We look forward to sharing more updates on this project as it progresses. Stay tuned for further developments!
